What we publish
Original reporting summaries and analysis of financing announcements, attributable scoops, acquisitions and other consequential developments. Company pages connect the news to dated funding records, disclosed investors and clearly labeled ownership evidence.
Editorial responsibility
Captables is the publisher. Captables Newsroom is our organizational editorial identity, not the name of an individual reporter. The publisher is responsible for coverage priorities, editorial policy and responding to corrections. Automated drafting and review do not replace that responsibility.
How the newsroom works
Our automated newsroom monitors publisher feeds and company sources. An AI writer researches the underlying evidence, writes original copy, and a separate AI review checks factual support and relevance before publication. The image pipeline produces article-specific editorial artwork and checks it before publishing. These are automated checks, not a claim that a human editor reviewed every article. The publisher sets editorial policy and reviews feedback.
One credible, readable source can be sufficient when it supports the claims. Rumors remain attributed reports, never silently become confirmed funding. Missing company data and unavailable legal cap tables remain visible gaps.
What a story must add
A synonym-swapped press release is not enough. Coverage should help readers understand the actual business, the development and the evidence behind it. When supported, we add dated funding comparisons, concrete product and customer context, or our own transparent calculations. We do not invent context to fill a template or produce near-identical pages for search rankings.
Editorial and commercial separation
Commercial inquiries do not buy favorable coverage or upgrade an evidence grade. Paid placements and material commercial relationships must be disclosed alongside the affected coverage. Captables software does not provide brokerage, custody, transaction authority or investment advice. Any separately contracted marketing-agency facilitation has its own engagement and is not a capability or approval granted to platform users.

Contact the newsroom or submit a public source. Choose “Evidence or correction” for an error. Editorial feedback is a direct route to the publisher; it is not published automatically. Our corrections policy explains how errors are handled. Commercial and software inquiries use a separate intake lane. Do not send confidential documents, credentials or sensitive personal information through either form.
