Einstein Technologies LLC operates Captables. Optional first-party measurement requires your choice.
Reader and private sessions
The secure HTTP-only reader session supports sign-in and lasts up to 30 days unless you sign out or it is revoked. Private workspace sessions and short-lived sign-in security cookies support requested account access. These cookies are not marketing consent.
Optional counters
Aggregate browser activity and sponsorship observation run only after you accept optional measurement. They do not retain a browser advertising ID or a visitor browsing history. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control prevents measurement even after acceptance. Security rate limits and service audit records are separate.
Local choices
site-optional-measurement-v1 records accepted or declined and site-storage-notice-v1 records that the notice was dismissed. They persist until changed or removed through browser site-data settings. Use Cookie preferences to change your choice; declining takes effect on future events immediately.
Media and newsletter providers
Cloudinary delivers images. Cloudflare and DigitalOcean deliver and protect the website and process technical request information. The newsletter signup opens Substack as a separate site; its analytics, advertising and storage are controlled by Substack. No Substack advertising SDK loads merely because you read a Captables page.
Your controls
Clearing cookies can sign you out, and clearing localStorage resets choices. Use /privacy to request review or deletion of server records. Your Substack subscription is managed separately on Substack.
