Chinese braking-system supplier Glubo has completed more than $83 million in Series C++ financing to expand manufacturing near automaker clusters, according to reports from Dealroom and PEdaily published Monday.
Dealroom puts total financing across Glubo’s Series C rounds at more than $152 million. Investors in the latest tranche include Zhonghuijin, Jinhua Venture Capital and Orient Securities Capital.
Glubo makes electronically controlled braking and chassis systems for automakers. Gasgoo names Chery, Geely and Seres among its customers and reports that the company develops and manufactures key valves and hydraulic and electronic control units itself.
PEdaily reports that the planned regional capacity is intended to stabilize deliveries and help Glubo respond faster to customers. The company also aims to lower manufacturing costs through its locations in automotive-industry hubs.
The regional expansion predates this financing disclosure. In a January 26 report published on Sohu, industry publication Xinliu Zhiku said a Yibin joint venture formed in June 2025 had produced its first brake unit. The venture paired Glubo with a local automotive-industry investment company.
