Mujin, which sells an operating layer for warehouse and factory robots, has reportedly added SK Square as a Series D investor. Korea Economic Daily reported that the South Korean investment holding company participated through its overseas unit, TGC Square. The size of its investment wasn’t disclosed.
According to Mujin, MujinOS sits above robotic arms, mobile robots, storage equipment and warehouse-execution systems. Perception and motion-planning software use a continuously updated digital twin to decide how equipment should move as inventory and operating conditions change, reducing the need to engineer every machine as a separate system.
Investing.com, summarizing a Bloomberg interview, reported that Toyota and Fast Retailing use the software. It described Mujin’s work as automating loading and unloading, stacking boxes, arranging carts, cages and pallets, and coordinating fleets of robots through one system.
The new check should not be confused with the Series D’s already announced first close. Mujin said in December 2025 that it had raised $233 million: $133 million of equity led by NTT Group, with Qatar Investment Authority as co-lead, and $100 million of debt. It also said it planned a second close. The June Bloomberg-derived report said the company was raising an extension; the latest Korean report names a new backer but doesn’t establish a new total or say that extension has closed.
For SK Square, the overlap is semiconductors. ChosunBiz reported that it sees potential applications for Mujin’s technology in semiconductor packaging, plant logistics and fab construction. Those are prospective links, not disclosed deployments: the report didn’t say that an SK affiliate had purchased or installed MujinOS.
Mujin has said the Series D will help shift it from an integration-led robotics business toward a product-led platform. The planned lineup is meant to let customers deploy and copy applications such as palletizing, bin picking, truck unloading and fleet management across sites, instead of asking Mujin to engineer each installation from scratch.
