The May 2022 $75M ESOP share sale is secondary employee liquidity, not new company funding. The December 2021 Series F was around $375M, not an exact amount; the issuer's $740M lifetime figure is rounded and not another round. Razorpay announced its 2015 Seed and Series A together as $11.5M cumulative without disclosing each split; imported $9M and $2.6M rows sum to $11.6M and are not used as separate exact amounts. The co-founder's July 2, 2016 original announcement confirms Mastercard invested separately from Start Path activities but does not disclose investment amount, security class or primary-versus-secondary allocation. No database-only observations remain in this retained record; that is not an independently reviewed complete history or proof of current ownership. Dates are issuer announcement dates unless a source explicitly proves closing; this is not a legal share register.

Lightspeed Venture Partners (lead) · Moore Strategic Ventures

Issuer announced a $75M transaction through which 650 current and former employees could sell vested ESOP shares. Do not count it as primary capital raised by Razorpay or assume every eligible sale completed that day.

Investors undisclosed

The issuer's 2020 statement confirms $75M Series C in 2019; June 18 announcement day is from contemporaneous reporting. The retrospective names company investors but not this round's participants or leads, so no round-specific investor roles are asserted here.

Mastercard investment (terms undisclosed)

Mastercard

Co-founder Harshil Mathur's July 2, 2016 announcement explicitly says Mastercard also invested, in addition to Start Path activities undertaken since late 2015. Start Path participation and payment-gateway integration are not separate capital raises. July 2 is the issuer publication date, not an authenticated closing day. This replaces the imported July 2016 Corporate Round observation (July 1 month anchor; https://www.clay.com/dossier/razorpay-funding), not another financing. Investment amount, security class, valuation, primary-versus-secondary allocation and settlement remain undisclosed; no exact issuer proceeds are counted. Tiger Global, Matrix Partners, Y Combinator and 33 angels appear as prior company backers, not named subscribers to this investment. Mastercard is the disclosed institutional brand, not an authenticated legal subscribing vehicle or proof of current ownership; no lead or sole-investor role is inferred.

Seed and Series A (combined disclosure)

Tiger Global (Series A) (lead) · Matrix Partners and Y Combinator (Seed) (lead) · Matrix Partners (Series A) · 33 seed angel investors

The October 27 issuer announcement says Seed and Series A closed with $11.5M cumulative capital, without revealing each round's size or the seed close date. This is one combined historical observation, not one new $11.5M October round.
