Lumaril has raised a $66 million Series A at a $400 million valuation for factory AI with fees tied to added production, the company announced on October 27.

The New York company connects to a plant’s existing control systems and learns from experienced operators. Lumaril says its platform adjusts equipment settings and control logic as conditions change, aiming to retain operating knowledge as veteran workers retire.

Returning investor Elad Gil led the round, joined by Felicis, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Pax Ventures and seed co-leads Lux Capital and General Catalyst. Lumaril said total funding reached $78 million. Lux’s backing dates to 2025.

Co-founders Mark Elliot and Ben Duffield previously helped create Palantir Foundry. Lumaril says it developed the system alongside operators at Ultra-Poly and The Arthur Companies. Its launch announcement did not quantify production gains at those sites.
