Sentra announced a $150 million financing led by Capital One Ventures to expand controls over the corporate data AI agents can access. The deal includes a small employee share sale, CTech reported, with most of the money going to the company.

Capital One will take a board seat. The financing follows a $50 million Series B led by Key1 Capital in April 2025; Sentra did not disclose a valuation for the new investment.

Sentra helps corporate security teams find sensitive datasets and identify which employees, service accounts and AI agents have access, including inherited permissions. The company says its analysis stays inside the customer’s environment and that it can automatically withdraw risky access. In a testimonial in the financing announcement, Lyft security chief Chaim Sanders described using Sentra to check what agents can reach before enabling them.

In August, Sentra announced browser controls that can block sensitive material from being pasted or uploaded to AI services such as ChatGPT and Claude. Security teams can set different policies for approved enterprise tools and unapproved consumer applications.

Sentra plans to use the investment to broaden visibility into agents, copilots and models, improve containment when agents behave unexpectedly, and expand its sales and channel operations.

The company told CTech it has about 100 major enterprise customers in the United States and Europe. It plans to double its workforce in Israel and the United States and open a London office, with US federal-market sales expected to begin in the second half of 2027.
