Rabyte Technology, the company behind AI investment-research assistant AlphaPai, disclosed a completed $50 million Series B in a September 15 announcement. Its software helps professional investors handle financial meetings, sift through research and organize institutional knowledge. The company plans to expand its products and reach more asset classes and overseas markets.

AlphaPai’s tools start with the practical work around researching a company. According to Rabyte’s product page, users can listen to earnings calls, receive calendar reminders and review AI-generated meeting summaries. They can also find research visits by city, contact organizers and look up a company’s past research activity. The service brings access to meetings and the information produced around them into the same research process.

PaiWork, launched in April, extends that approach into a broader workspace. The company says it brings financial data, research tools, office software and knowledge bases together, with users building research workflows and reusing skills. That gives AlphaPai a role beyond finding the next useful document: its stated aim is to support the analysis and accumulated knowledge that follow.

The company says AlphaPai has served more than 120,000 professional users across over 8,000 financial institutions and asset managers. Those are reach figures, rather than a count of paying institutional accounts. Rabyte’s product page separately identifies paying institutional users and offers them private discussion groups. Its June research-partner program adds another relationship: more than 40 brokerage research institutes, data providers and other industry participants collaborating on content, data and skills.

The September 15 release names China Insurance Investment, GF Xinde Investment Management and Qiming Venture Partners among the round’s participants, alongside other investors and existing shareholders. China Renaissance advised the transaction. Earlier coverage from Yiou, carried by Sohu, dates the Series B announcement to September 10 without specifying its size; the later company release supplies the $50 million figure. Rabyte says this is its third financing round in a year.

Expansion into insurance research would take AlphaPai further across equities, fixed income and alternative assets, a direction the company connects to China Insurance Investment’s participation. The business question is whether workflows developed around investment meetings and equity research can become routine tools for teams allocating money across those different assets.
