Bedrock Robotics has officially raised a $600 million Series C at a $4.1 billion post-money valuation, confirming the financing Axios reported this month. The current post-money valuation compares with the $1.75 billion valuation disclosed alongside its $270 million Series B in February. CapitalG and Emergence Capital co-led the new round.
The new capital takes total funding to nearly $1 billion, according to the company, and follows Bedrock’s August move from supervised tests to paid operatorless work on live commercial sites. Bedrock says it will use the money to expand deployments and the field, commercial and operational teams supporting them.
Bedrock retrofits contractors’ existing excavators with sensors and onboard computing rather than requiring new machinery. A site manager sets the initial plan; the equipped machine then perceives its surroundings, plans its movements and performs the earthwork. Construction Dive reported that installation can be completed in one day and that the excavator stops when it detects a person, nearby object or system fault.
Bedrock says its customer volume has more than doubled since 2025, though it did not disclose the customer or deployed-machine count. Haydon is deploying the system at a remote Texas site, while the announcement names new contracts across seven additional states. Trenching, larger excavators and coordinated mixed-machine fleets remain planned extensions rather than current deployments.
