Aspirity Partners has committed $135 million for a minority investment in Hoxton Wealth, the international financial adviser’s first outside backing since its 2018 founding. The deal, announced on November 3, still needs regulatory approvals.
Hoxton helps people whose finances span several countries with investment, retirement and tax planning. Based in London and Dubai, it reported more than 10,000 clients and over $5 billion in assets in October.
Hoxton says its app lets clients bring together bank accounts, pensions, investments and debts held across countries and currencies. Advisers can use that information to guide clients from a consolidated view of their finances.
Hoxton had reported more than $3 billion in assets in April 2025. Chief executive Chris Ball told International Adviser on October 2, 2026 that acquisitions and adviser recruitment had established offices in Asian markets where Hoxton previously had no presence.
Aspirity said its backing would support international expansion, adviser hiring and acquisitions. Ball said in the announcement that Hoxton already had acquisition opportunities to pursue.
