Inspiren raised a $70 million Series C announced September 10 for technology used by senior-living operators and their care teams. The company combines in-room awareness, resident help devices and software to make needs visible to staff, connecting emergency response with records of the care a resident actually receives.

Its emergency-call workflow is straightforward. A resident presses a button; a staff member claims the alert in an app so colleagues know who is responding. Visual context and two-way voice can help the employee understand the situation before arriving, while response activity is recorded in Inspiren HQ. The system coordinates people providing care rather than removing the need for someone to reach the resident.

A separate care-planning workflow uses staff beacons to capture time spent in resident apartments. Teams can review changes in service needs with Inspiren’s clinical staff and discuss adjustments with families. That connects day-to-day care delivery to the operator’s planning and billing conversations. The available product material supports this workflow, not an assertion that software independently determines an appropriate clinical plan.

The company serves assisted-living and memory-care settings, naming operators including Aegis Living, Clearwater Living and Solera Senior Living. Its announcement says new voice and alert-claiming features are being introduced in phases. Operator accounts describe better response and fewer adverse incidents, but these are reported experiences in particular communities, not proof of a universal reduction in falls or hospitalizations.

NewView Capital led the financing, with participation from Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners and other investors. The official release puts total funding at $225 million and the valuation above $500 million; FinSMEs independently reported the Series C. Inspiren says it will expand its hardware and software capabilities and reach more communities.

The business challenge is making additional visibility useful without overwhelming a busy care team. An alert needs an accountable responder, and a change in care needs a conversation and a practical adjustment. Inspiren’s connected workflow puts those handoffs at the center of the product; wider adoption will test whether they remain workable across different buildings, staff routines and resident needs.
