Neolix, which builds driverless vans for moving parcels and other goods through cities, has completed a nearly $400 million Series E, the company announced Tuesday, according to TechNode. Boyu Capital and a national-level fund co-led the financing. The company will use the proceeds to expand its international operations and customer-service network and to train the models that drive its vehicles.

The product is less a self-driving truck than an on-demand courier network without a driver in the cab. In Neolix’s RoboVan-as-a-Service offering, a merchant uses a mobile interface to request a vehicle for a point-to-point delivery. Central dispatch software assigns vehicles and adjusts routes across the fleet. Usage-based pricing lets customers tap that capacity without buying and operating the hardware themselves, Neolix said in a March company update.

That model targets the awkward middle of urban logistics: small merchants, wholesalers and local service businesses with frequent but irregular delivery needs. Neolix says the network can handle retail restocking, fresh food, pharmaceuticals and factory goods around the clock. Its vans also automate parcel and cargo runs in office parks, industrial sites, campuses, residential areas and central business districts, DealStreetAsia reported.

Neolix said in March that the service had completed more than 1.5 million orders and logged more than 40 million autonomous kilometers. In Qingdao, where it first scaled the model with Didi Freight, peak daily orders exceeded 6,500, according to the company. At that scale, the operating challenge extends beyond building vans to dispatching and supporting a working fleet.

The new round follows a more than $600 million Series D in 2025. This time, some of the capital is earmarked for local service hubs in major overseas markets, where the vehicles will need maintenance and customer support. DealStreetAsia reported that Neolix has approval to begin public-road sandbox testing in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, with local partners; planned trials cover parcel delivery, campus logistics and e-commerce fulfillment.
