Denmark’s state investment fund EIFO has committed nearly $15 million to TEKEVER’s Series D as the autonomous-drone maker prepares its first Nordic operation in Odense. The planned base would serve customers and partners across the region.

TEKEVER announced the first close of its $580 million Series D on September 23 at a $6.4 billion valuation, with UC Investments and Baillie Gifford leading. It said then that further closings would bring in strategic investors. Figures are in US dollars, converted at November 6, 2026 reference rates.

TEKEVER makes autonomous aircraft for military and civilian surveillance. Its fixed-wing AR5 is designed for maritime patrol, border monitoring and search and rescue, according to the company. The aircraft also underpins the British Army’s CORVUS surveillance programme.

TEKEVER already has a Danish supplier. Defence Nordic reported on August 4 that the company had placed a paid order for fewer than five cameras from startup Sapient Perception for integration into its AR5.

TEKEVER chose Odense for access to drone testing and robotics research, Tech.eu reported, citing UAS Denmark’s International Test Centre and the University of Southern Denmark. The company is still forming a Danish entity and arranging local operations, with expansion to proceed in stages as demand and approvals allow.

The company also plans to explore using its dual-use systems to monitor critical offshore energy infrastructure with Danish stakeholders, according to Tech.eu.
