Wabi, founded by Replika creator Eugenia Kuyda, has raised $55 million at a $1.25 billion valuation as it brings its tools for creating apps into an AI assistant for groups. IVP led the financing, announced October 29, with Andreessen Horowitz, Forerunner and Amazon Alexa Fund participating.
The assistant helps people coordinate activities inside a group chat. When friends plan to meet, for example, it can use details such as their agreed meeting time to suggest restaurants, SiliconANGLE reported. Users can also create small apps and games that run within the chat.
Andreessen Horowitz announced Wabi’s $20 million pre-seed on November 5, 2025, describing a platform for consumers to create and remix personal software. Kuyda told TechCrunch users wanted apps without building them.
Wabi says the new capital will fund product development and expansion. Its software is available on iOS, Android and Mac, with a Windows version planned. The company cited strong early demand after its public launch but did not disclose a user count.
